Description:
The tiny Baby Brownie camera has a moulded plastic body designed by Walter
Dorwin Teague and has a simple folding frame finder for lining up the subject. The US made Baby Brownies, destined for export from 1936-1939, had a button for
brief time exposures. Kodak UK Limited manufactured this camera
for export only after World War II with the brief time button added only to these models from 1951 until it was discontinued in 1952.
Fun Facts:
My father had one of these great cameras in Europe during World War II. I found it in the attic around 1962. It had film in it, which we had developed, and the pictures came out great. They were of my father and his buddies standing around his Sherman tank in Belgium! This camera helped start my life-long love of photography...and I still use it with fantastic results!
